Change is life, so there is also a small change in the list of confirmed bands for this year's, 13th edition of the Pilsen metal festival METALFEST OPEN AIR! International alternative rock band MAX ENIX apologizes for family reasons. Their place is thus taken by the band that shined in December at the WINTER "Masters" in ZLÍN - the German heavy-metal band DARK SKY!

DARK SKY are a very seasoned and extremely experienced band in the field of rock and metal! It was founded in 1982 by Mike Stelzig, Frank Breuninger, Richy Richard, Champs Niebling and Mike Tomlinson. Since then, the band has been touring and playing with unceasing passion and maximum commitment. DARK SKY has an unique sound that is comparable to, for example, Scorpions, Magnum, Pretty Maids, Treat, Gary Moore, Europe and other similar bands. Over the long period of its existence, the band necessarily went through several line-up changes, but their pure sound remains unchanged. Last year, DARK SKY released their sixth studio album "Signs of the time", which they will come to play in their very impressive live show at the Lochotín Amphitheater in PILSEN! Don't miss them!
