These modest creators of melodic metal were born in 1996 on the edge of the world in the northern Finnish town of Kemi. SONATA ARCTICA achieved multiple gold status in its native Finland. Their list of successes in the global charts is very long, and their dominance in the world of melodic power-metal is proven by countless sold-out halls and clubs around the world. After their acoustic tour, "Sonata" has returned to their traditional metal roots and is preparing a new album. The first taste called "First In Line" recently flew out of the nest and is the best harbinger of what awaits us at METALFEST in PLZNI this year with this excellent band!
