METALFEST OPEN AIR 2025 – Lochotín Amphitheatre, PILSEN - 6. – 8. 6.2025

The international metal festival METALFEST OPEN AIR, which opens the summer festival season every year at the beginning of June in the Pilsen´s Lochotín Amphitheatre, today welcomes the Lebanese death-doom metal band KIMAERA to its busy program this year!

KIMAERA, founded in 2000 by singer and guitarist Jean-Pierren Haddad, combines influences of oriental metal, doom and death metal with light gothic undertones, sounding harmonious and melodicly, occasionally with the sounds of violin or piano. KIMAERA has made its way from their home Middle East, where they are called the “Lebanese ambassadors of doom”, to the world metal scene. In 2022, the band was hit by the tragic death of Jean-Pierre Haddad. However, after this heavy loss, the band got back together and is coming to METALFEST 2025 with its original and interesting metal mix and a new album „Portal“!
