The international metal open air METALFEST has great news for you! For its 14th edition, which will take place in the popular amphitheater Lochotín in PILSEN from Friday to Sunday 6th – 8th of June 2025, the phenomenal KING DIAMOND returns after many years!

This living legend returns to Pilsen METALFEST after 12 long years! KING DIAMOND is quite possibly the most recognized and prolific figure in heavy metal ever. It is a man and a band that are worshiped by such icons as Metallica or Pantera and inspire entire generations of metalheads all over the world. They have left an indelible mark on the history of metal and now they are about to make another, fresh mark on the future of the genre! KING DIAMOND's more than thirty year music career is one of the most storied and this his story is not over yet! A brand new studio album titled 'The Institute' should be out next year and promises brand new horror stories, crazy concepts and haunting orchestrations. All this, of course, under the signature brand of KING DIAMOND and his talented group of musicians, guitarists Andy LaRocque and Mike Wead, bassist Pontus Egberg and drummer Matt Thompson. Look forward to his next, sensationally bizarre, mysterious show and his famous black and white image. At the beginning of June, the Lochotín Amphitheater in PILSEN will once again be covered in darkness and a wonderful, horror atmosphere!
